The “EUROMARITIME AWARDS 2026” competition is open to direct or indirect exhibitors offering products and/or services in one of the maritime industry’s fields of application.

The “EUROMARITIME AWARDS 2026” competition is open to direct or indirect exhibitors offering products and/or services in one of the maritime industry’s fields of application. 

How you can participate?

The Awards recognise candidate companies that have developed new systems in the following fields: 

  • Maritime energy transition: Open to applications dedicated to decarbonisation, renewable energies and environmental protection in the maritime environment  
  • Maritime innovation: Open to technological advances that improve the efficiency of operations at sea and on maritime infrastructures
  • Safety & Security at Sea:
    • Open to systems serving maritime safety: safety of ships, crews and infrastructures, cyber security, prevention of attacks and accidents; solutions for coastguards and rescuers at sea. 
    • Open to international, European and Euro-Mediterranean collaborative projects.  
  • “Special GICAN prize” award: Open only to GICAN members exhibiting at EUROMARITIME 

How many awards will be given?

3 prizes will be awarded + 1 special GICAN award:

  • Maritime Energy Transition Award
  • Maritime Innovation Award
  • Safety and Security at Sea Award

     

GICAN Special award (reserved for GICAN members)

Exhibitors can compete with equipment, services or software. This is an opportunity for candidates to showcase the innovative and disruptive nature of their solution.

A panel of recognised experts has been convened to evaluate and distinguish the most promising innovations in the maritime industry.
