Christophe CASTANER president of the port of Marseille Fos and former French Minister of the Interior will be leading the 2024 edition of EUROMARITIME.
Elected to the head of Marseille Fos port in November 2022, Christophe CASTANER leads the Supervisory Board which defines the seaport’s strategic orientation with the clear objective of “reconciling environmental excellence, competitiveness and economic atractiveness”.
To ensure the stable growth of the “Grand Port”, its president is firmly committed to supporting projects aimed at decarbonising the maritime sector : “I believe that we are currently witnessing the beginning of a great revolution driven decarbonisation”.
For the third consecutive year, EUROMARITIME 2024 will be held at Marseille’s “Parc Chanot” from January 30th to February 1st 2024, consolidating its roots in the city of Marseille and its international outlook. Once again, EUROMARITIME will be a privileged meeting place for all players in the French, European and Mediterranean blue growth and marine industries. The 2024 edition will focus in particular on maritime transport, the port industry, fishing, shipbuilding and ship repair, as well as all the marine technologies that are driving progress and the future.
